JustGiving Integration to RE

Hi All, as you're aware, Blackbaud have just launched JustGiving integration;

The new JustGiving Integration for Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT provides a real-time feed, pulling fundraising and donation data from JustGiving into Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, enabling your organisation to be more efficient, save time, and take your stewardship programs to the next level with a more complete picture of your supporters.

Before we adopt this new way of working, I want to be sure how this will alter our processes and REC each month.

Has anyone signed up to this yet and if so;

• Do you need to do a batch import each day?
• Did you update your processes?
• If so, what did you change?

Hi Louise,

The integration has actually been around for a while. My org has been integrated since last October.

Webview creates a JustGiving batch for each day. You can process them daily, or not. They hang around until they're approved and committed. Our gift process didn't really change, this just became a new part of what to do.

The batches do come into database view, into their own folder, called Webview Batches if I remember correctly.

One key thing of making it all work smoothly was to go into the settings and set up our defaults.

Just something I am trying to clarify and you will know the answer immediately, will any new records for those not already on RE get created straight away by the JG integration, or after the batch has been committed please?

I'm pretty sure that it's right away. Perhaps @Jackie Zimmerman could confirm?

Hi y'all! (Thank you Heather for the tag to get my attention. ?) Constituents are created immediately in RENXT if there is not a match found with existing constituent records. The match is based upon the data the donor supplies in the check process and the tool will compare the first name, last name, email address. Email address is the unique identifier.
