Header Font Size/Color Issues - Donation Form>Thank You Page

Options
Hi all,

Is anyone else having issues with changing the font size/color in headers on your Donation Form>Thank You Page? I've contacted support about this multiple times without resolution. The font size and color look accurate in the WYSIWYG editor, but are not the same (mostly a font size issue) in Preview and Test Drive. Similar issue with captions--size and placement.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

  • Hi Laura,

What does it look like on your actual site? Like the live Thank You page. I am assuming you are editing one that is already in production.

I have the same issue with email where Preview doesn't look exactly like it does when the email is actually sent.

There are probably some CSS problems in Preview.

As long as you test the live version across browsers, you will be ok.

    Thanks,

    Phil
  • Hi Laura,

It looks like the headline on your Thank You page is wrapped in a h1 tag (headline 1 tag). This is going to look different in the WYSIWYG than on the live page, since the WYSIWYG is not accurately reflecting the styles that are in your LO site / Page Wrapper. The styles in your LO site for h1 tags are configured based on your branding.

If you'd like to override this, try highlighting the headline and changing it to a paragraph. You can then apply some additional styles to it like bold, changing the color or increasing the font size. You could also just leave this headline with the h1 tags and apply additional styles to it, as well, but you might experience some styling conflicts.

And, if you haven't tried it already, I highly recommend highlighting your text and clicking on the AA icon and using the options available there to style your text.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Robin
