Gift Aid recorded as a Cash gift?

Hi All,


Do you add Gift Aid on a Constituent's record as a cash payment once GA has been claimed and received?

No (for the most part) - I'm not the person who processes the Gift Aid claims for our organisation, but when receive Gift Aid from HMRC, then on the gifts that it was claimed on the claim number is filled out.


Gift aid we receive via Virgin Money Giving, Just Giving et al. we do post as cash gifts and we have a record for Gift Aid Interest, which is the only Gift Aid that we claim directly that would get posted as a cash gift.

Same as Rachel - no, except for JustGiving where they do the Gift Aid claim for us.
