Luminate Online Slowed Down?

After the recent release, every page load in Luminate Online - from logging in to viewing a group - is incredibly slow. This product is practically unusable now, as it takes forever to do simple tasks. This has lasted a few days now.


Is anyone else having this experience?

    Yes, LO has been extremely slow since yesterday. BB Support has placed this issue to their Active Issue Status board (https://status.blackbaud.com/) as a result. I just checked and it is still up there.

  • We've been getting complaints, especially about event registrations.
  • Just want to add that any Plug-In connects to LO would also be affected by its slowness.


    For us, we originally detected the Plug-In of ImportOmatic to be extremely slow and thought something was wrong with it. After a Support Ticket going out to them, they reported to Blackbaud and confirmed LO was the culprit.
  • Interesting, Kim. Does anyone know if transactions or form submissions (especially donations) are affected by this issue? The page-load time doesn't seem to affected to me, but idk about submitting/processing.
  • I haven't heard any complaints about donation pages, but we are having trouble with registration pages -- when folks complete the form and click register it's just not progressing.

    Our account was also one of the folks who had deliverability issues. I just got a message that was resolved, too - so I think these things were connected somehow. (They said the deliverability issues were server-related.)
  • I just see that a 'fix has been implemented' and another update will be provided at 9 a.m. CST, which is right now.
