PowerBI integration

Hello,


I am a new member of the community and I am learning how to connect LO data in Power BI for visualization. My team has been using flat tables to create views in Power BI and my goal is to request data directly from the LO website using their APIs. However, after searching for quite a bit, I am still not sure how to write reports in Power BI. My 2 main reports that I would like to write are Donations by Transaction and Email Report by Campaign. I am also new to LO and Blackbaud so if anyone could show me where to start, your help would be much appreciated.

I really appreciate your response. I checked out the Web Service and was able to see the XML document. I am very new to API calls and to be honest, I am not quite clear where to start in order to import LO data directly in Power BI. If you could give me some recommendations on where I should start looking at and trying, that would be much appreciated.
