eReceipt as attachment

Would it be possible to have the option of sending ereceipts as attachments instead of links? Some of our donors are having no end of trouble accessing theirs. They either don't know to check Downloads or aren't able to find Downloads (especially those on iPhone/iPad) and some have reported unrelated pages loading in their browsers after clicking on the links. It would be much easier to just send them an attachment.

Hi David. I mostly agree with you and donor have come to expect pdf receipts, have you checked the ideas bank for this? However, one advantage of the receipt URL is that it is added as a gift attribute and you can use the URL to generate their pdf receipt and email it to them. So recreating the receipt is a breeze with the current method.
