Report for giving by Campaign/Fund

I am trying to get a spreadsheet with CONSTITUENCY ID, NAME, CONSTITUENCY CODE, LIFETIME, GIVING IN 20/21, 19/20, 18/19, 17/18, 16/17, LAST GIFT DATE, LAST GIFT AMOUNT. I can get everything but the specific campaigns (20/21, 19/20, 18/19, Etc.) I would appreciate any help, thank you!

    If you want the gift summary for each campaign, you'll need to filter on one campaign per summary. So if you have 5 different campaigns to export, you'll need 5 separate gift summaries.

    Would I do that through Criteria/Gifts/Campaigns/Selecting a specific one? What would my outputs be? Total gift?

  • Your outputs would be the columns you want to see in a gift summary. I usually include number of gifts, total amount, I'll often include largest and sometimes average. Change your column headings to reflect each campaign.


    I often do three different gift summaries for each year (in your case: campaign) based on gift types

    1. Cash, pay cash, stocks, other, GIK, etc.

    2. Pledge

    3. Pledge balance


    So if I were doing this for 5 different campaigns, I would end up with 3 summaries for each campaign for a total of 15 summaries. If you only want number of gifts and total amount columns, you would then have 30 columns of gift summary data.


    Is this going to give you what you need? You could include individual gifts depending on how many you have and then use a pivot table in the spreadsheet but I would think the summaries would work for you.
