How to find cancelled recurring donors

I update our recurring donor web page on our website every month and I'm trying to find a way to query constituents who've cancelled their recurring gifts in a given previous month. We are new to RE. Classy has an easy way to filter cancelled recurring donors by date, but I'm at a loss as to how to do this in Raiser's Edge.

On the gift (the original Recurring Gift, not the recurring gift-pay cash), there's a place to put status/date. Change the status to terminated or completed, and add the date.  Then you can query on that.

Thanks! Are donors able to cancel their monthly donations themselves, if they no longer want to give? How would I find them?

If gifts are entered as recurring gift, then how about a query of that gift type, last gift date equals previous month? It should pull anyone without a payment in current month.  Exact date criteria would depend on your gift date process.

I don't think there is a way for donors to cancel themselves without reaching out directly to your office. If I'm wrong I'd love to know about it.
