Event has multiple choice of dates to sign up for

Options
We have an event with multiple choices of dates. Wondering how to let the registrant pick the date(s) they want and then charge them the correct amount. The only thing I can think of is having each date as a separate registration type, but then it clogs up the table. Ideas?

Caroline Martien‍ - If the goal is to allow the registrant to choose multiple event dates, than you'll need to keep them together on one form for ease of signing up.  However, if a registrant should only choose one event date, you could build out a form for each event date and have a central landing page with buttons that direct registrants to that date's event form.
  • Thanks Austin. I did each date as a registration. However, now I see that there's a limit of 10 registrations for each type. That seems very strange. Does that mean I need to use NXT forms for event registrations to have an increased maximum registrants?

AND - Is it a problem to be using event forms from NXT and donation forms from OLX?

You can edit the max registration limit per type under the 'Get Started' tab.  This limit only applies to the number of people a donor can signup in one session for an event date.  If you want to limit the event form's capacity you can apply that on the 'Extras' tab; it is not possible to limit a specific event date's capacity if you have multiple event dates listed on one event form.

I unfortunately do not know enough about NXT event forms to tell you whether the NXT forms would be an improvement over OLX forms or not.
