TR Milestone question

Hello -

If a TR event has a $1000, $2000, and a $3000 milestone in place and a participant who has only raised $500 receives a single gift of $3000, will they be sent the $1000 and $2000 milestone emails or just the the $3000 version?  I believe the answer is that they will only receive the $3000 milestone email but would love some confirmation.
