Issues using consent in BBNC

Hello,


We are setting up the email communications in Net Community for the first time. I have the consent mapped in Raiser' Edge, but we can't figure out how to "connect" the consent part to the email preferences.


We created a test consent part, but it doesn't seem to be working the way we want and having difficulty identifying the exact problem to actually solve it. Anyone out there have experience with this that could point us in a good direction?


We are also planning on creating different consent parts to go with the type of email we are sending i.e. if we are sending a Homecoming/Reunion email, the consent will be to opt-out of the Homecoming/Reunion messages.

Hi Lara, If I understand your question, you have created the consents in Business rules, but you can't see them in NetCOmmunity? If so, please make sure you defined them in Production RE Database (Not the test one). Then, you need to login to NetCommunity, and go Administration → code tables, and refresh your table. Give it about 20 minutes and it will be updated
