Fine Tuning an event page

Options
Hi There,

I am having difficulty using the fine tuning tab on an event page?  I am trying to add language, and the buttons are all grayed out.  What might I be doing wrong?

Thanks,

Nikki

Hi Nikki Kaffee‍ - You need to click onto the form, and the specific area of text you want to change.  Some areas of text are able to be changed, some are not.  If you want to add language that explains the form, I would recommend you add that directly to the webpage.
  • Hi Austen, I am trying to change the date and time, which is grayed out.  Unfortunately, I am unable to click on that are within the fine tuning section.  Is there another place I need to refer to when trying to change this on the page?

    Thanks,

    Nikki

Open the linked event record within RE and update the date/time on the general tab.  Your form should update automatically after the change is saved.
  • Hi Austen,

I'm having the same issue as above. I would rather edit the form heading/ subheading in OE rather than on the event module in RE. Why don't I have the ability to make changes? Could it be an access level issue? Thanks for your help.

Hi @Sharla Jolly - Welcome to BB Community! Unfortunately, this is just how OLX is set-up for Event Forms. Any information that is gathered from the event module to be displayed on the form needs to be edited directly on the Event Record, with the exception of registration options which you can change the display information for on the first tab of the OLX Event Form Editor. The remaining edits you would like to make to Headers or Sub-headers can be made directly on the Fine Tuning tab.

I recommend you check out the OLX Idea Bank and make sure this topic is represented.
