Managing MailChimp lists in RE

Hey all, I am hoping that someone has experience or advice on how we can proceed with this issue.  We are starting to overhaul our email system and I am trying to create a process for that.  We have decided to use MailChimp as our main source for subscribe and unsubscribes.  I am planning to import/export information as it comes in.  


My question is how to best track emails on the record.  For instance, we keep spouses together on the record.  What could be a best practice to track which email someone is wants to use for a specific mailing list in RE?   So if a spouse would like their email to be subscribed to a list but the main const. doesn't, how can I reflect that?  I want to make sure we are syncing all of our data correctly.  


Any other tips/best practices for syncing and using MailChimp?  Thank you all in advance!
