Export in Database View - "Export Not Responding"

We are a long time Raiser's Edge customer and moved to NXT almost 6 months ago. Recently I had a strange experience with Exporting in database view and my colleagues had the issue yesterday. I ran an export to my hosted files location (M:) and after 5 Min's the message "Export Not Responding" came up. I gave it about an hour , nothing changed, same message, so I canceled the export. I logged off database view. Relaunched database view and started the Export again.  After 5 Min's the message "Export Not Responding" came up. I then waited a couple of hours. Nothing happened. I canceled it again. I restarted the export and it ran in 5 mins. It is very frustrating. I searched the knowledge base and did not find anything.  Has anyone been experiencing this quirkiness with database view exports?

  • This has happened to us. When it does, the standing solution (for whatever reason) has been a complete computer restart.
