Unique Attendee IDs for Raffle

In true lockdown fashion we are doing a raffle campaign as opposed to hosting a live in-person event. 


The idea is that one person could register for the raffle "event" and purchase single or multiple tickets. We need to display a unique identifier (used as an electronic raffle number) as a merge field in the confirmation messages. By default, it does not look like NetCommunity can pull in an individual attendee ID as a merge field. Can something be created in Raisers Edge as an attendee ID custom field within the Attendee Loop to then be available as a merge item for web and email confirmations?
