Is it possible to setup SSO for only one user?

Hi,


A client we work with wants to setup SSO for a single admin user in order to connect and manage applications. Is there a way to enable the SSO for a single admin Blackbaud user without affecting the login experience for any other members?

    Hi Davis,

    The answer to your question varies by Blackbaud product.  If you configure SSO via the Admin console and claim an email domain to redirect to an identity provider such as Azure or Google, all users logging in through the Blackbaud ID signin page will be redirected based on their email domain.


    However, if you are asking on behalf of a school using Education Management, Blackbaud ID access can be configured by user, and only those users configured go through the Blackbaud ID screen to take advantage of the SSO.
