User Defined Fields and Auto-Updating Values

Good morning!


My organization is looking into overhauling our eTap database. One major area is not having our donors labeled properly at their Stewardship Levels defined within the organization. We do have a custom field from a prior user that has Stewardship Levels, and then accompanying values for $0-499 donors, $500-999, etc. However, these need to be manually updated on each account which seems quite time consuming.


Parsing through help topics, I may have missed my answer, but is there a way to integrate journal entries of donations / year-to-date totals, to auto-update an Account/Constituent's user-value of Stewardship? Thanks for any assistance!
