Online Express forms overwrite each other on website

We are running into the problem of needing to imbed multiple Online Express forms on our website but they overwrite each other. Has anyone been able to imbed more than one? If so, how did you do it? Appreciate any suggestions you may have!

Hi Jennifer Lester‍. I wanted to share that we don't formally support the embedding of more than one Online Express web form onto the same page. We've heard reports of customers who have experimented and gotten this to work by doing some javascript customization to "containerize" each of the OLX forms and control which one gets rendered to the website visitor (e.g. based on some interaction they have on the page) and taking care that only one form snippet runs per page load.

Chris, thank you for your response.  Do you foresee Blackbaud updating OLX to allow imbedding more than form?  It would better serve organizations by offering more options to direct donor giving.  Have you seen any drawbacks to organizations that containerize their pages?

With the next generation of donation forms in RE NXT (which will eventually obsolete the use of OLX for donation forms) being in early adopter testing, we're not likely to build support for this into OLX forms. I haven't come across a very large number of organizations who attempted to embed multiple forms on the same page and in most cases that I was involved with, there were alternative ways to accomplish the organization's goals.


If you're able to share more detail about what's driving the need to show multiple forms on the same page, I might be able to recommend some alternatives you could consider.

it is weird how BB is using same div id for the forms, same div id is causing the overriding the same object by different forms, and that's the issue.
