Active recurring gift count

For the free NXT insights/dashboards (created via the Report Builder menu option), does anyone know how to get a simple count of active recurring gifts?


I've tried with the existing insights, but I am not able to filter on gift status.  Am I looking the wrong place, or is this how it is?  Feels pretty basic, would hate to think this is an 'advanced' reporting option (ie paid).

Yep, tried to do the same thing the other day - I asked about it recently and was told that need fields are added regularly, and to keep checking. As you've mentioned, it's a pretty basic one! I am hoping that with the advent of automated recurring giving, more of that basic recurring giving functionality is surfaced in NXT.

Bumping this one to see if we can garner any more interest - surely with Automated Recurring Giving going live, a comprehensive feature set for reporting on Recurring Gifts makes sense?


Has anyone else run into this blocker? Seems like a nice easy win for the developers to surface a few more fields ?

We also just ran into this issue. I was trying to create a constituent list of those active in our recurring gift program. Because gift status is not an available filter, I'm not able to get an accurate list.

We just moved to NXT and I am just running into this issue in 2023. Please tell me this has been addressed - it sure doesn't look like it has but I can't believe it has been like this for over 4 years with no ability to report on Active Recurring Gifts?

Hey Kerry! The issue persists unfortunately - we use Database View for all of our Regular Giving Reporting as it's the only way to get accurate numbers.

I know in the latest Product Update Briefing it looked like there could be some neat enhancements to what fields are available in RE NXT coming soon, so I'm hopeful that this issue might not be around for too much longer. We'll see!

I found a field called Gift Projected Amount and it looks like this is giving me the correct totals for the Recurring Gift Projected amounts through a certain date. So I am happy about that! I still don't think I can get a count of how many active Recurring Gifts there are, but I am going to keep looking.
