Org Type not available in NXT

We use the Org Type in the database view to categorise all of the Organisation records to assist with writing Queries etc. I can't find the field in NXT, will it be added at some point and what are people doing in the meantime?

We have always used constituent codes for this. Ours are pretty broad - like Matching Gift Company, Donor Advised Fund etc.

Hi Karen, thanks for responding. We are a Charity and have a large number of table entries in our Org Type table e.g. hairdressers, shop, eatery, bank, solicitors etc, so this would make our Constituent Code table huge! I'm hoping the Org Type table will be added to NXT at some point, as there is the Organization info section and it's not a bespoke field that we've added that I'm aware!

It sounds like you have renamed one of the standard fields to be "Org Type."

Where is your "org type" field? If you record it as an attribute (aka Custom Fields), you can use it in NXT.

John, thanks for the message and you're right - the field is Industry on the Org 2 tab in the Database view, but still not in NXT unfortunately!
