How can I get a detailed report on all donors for a participant?

Scenario: A TeamRaiser participant contacted me and wanted a detailed report on all the people that had donated to his page so he could send them handwritten thank you's. What report should I use to do this?

There is no existing report that will provide this information. However, you can do the following in order to extract a participant's donor information:

1) Run a TeamRaiser transaction report for all dates for the specific TeamRaiser. Do not put in any name -- leave those fields blank. This will run a report of ALL donations to the TeamRaiser.

2) Download the report to Excel. The participant name is the very last field on the right; the field is called "Donation_On_Behalf_Of".

3) In Excel, go to the top menu and select Data -> Sort

4) Sort by "Donation_On_Behalf_Of" field, which will put every donation for that participant together. Then find the participants name in the far right field who wants this information, and you can delete out all the report rows for all other participants by highlighting those rows and hitting the delete key. This will then leave only the data for the one participant. You can also delete any columns of data that would not be relevant to the participant, and then email the report to the participant.

5) Save
