Optimizing videos through NetCommunity emails

I am interested to know how other institutions are optimizing animated videos through NetCommunity emails for Holiday Greetings. It is to my understanding that videos cannot be embedded within an email, rather through a link that redirects them to a web page or different platform. What are some good practices that your institution utilizes when using videos that seem to be effective?

Hi 

So you're right, direct video launch other than GIFs do not play nice in NC and emails. You will need to set up a Vimeo or YouTube video, capture an image and then overlay a play button and then link it. It is the same with website's landing pages. Now there is a few things you will be able to do in RENXT email creation coming soon. If you are handy with Photoshop you can capture an image and in a link play button. I recommend watching the RENXT roadmap in the webinar section of the community. (I think that's where it is). If you can't get it I can forward you the link.
