How do I track click-throughs for links from a different site?

Options

What you are looking for is how to use source code and subsource codes.

The source code is actually two distinct fields: source and sub-source. To add them to a URL, add the query string parameters s_src and s_subsrc. For example:

http://www.convio.com/site/PageServer?pagename=homepage&s_src=foo&s_subsrc=bar

The values can be any string. Note that if you want to include spaces in the source code value, you should use + signs. For example:

s_src=BannerAds&s_subsrc=AdonCNNweb+site

The source code information is available in the downloaded file from the Donations Report for a detailed view and in the Campaign Analysis report for a summary level view.

For more information on source codes, see this very useful help article. There is also a Community article titled: Which reports should I run for s_src (source) and s_subsrc (subsource) used in links in emails? which might be relevant.
