How do I associate a Premium with a Donation Level?

A Premium (such as a t-shirt or a calendar) may be associated with any level of giving to provide an extra incentive to the donor. A donor is always offered the option of not accepting the premium, thus permitting 100% of their donation to be applied to your fundraiser.

Associate a premium with a giving level as follows:

1. Create and save a new Donation Level for a particular Donation Form. After saving the level, you will have a new area at the bottom of the Edit Donation Level page for adding premiums.

Note: You can also reopen the Edit Donation Level page to add a premium to a level by clicking the Edit icon beside the Level Name on the Levels page.

2. Click the Manage Premiums button.

3. On the Premium List page that opens, click the Create New Premium link.

4. On the Edit Premium page, provide the following information:

-Premium Title - (required) - for example, "Gold Value"; will be shown to the user on the Premium Selection page

-Short Description - will be displayed to the user just beneath the Premium Title

-Long Description - will be displayed to the user in a pop-up window when they click on the Premium image

-Image - use the Browse button to select an image to display with the Premium, if desired

5. Provide a Fair Market Value for the Premium (required). This information will be incorporated into autoresponders to provide an accurate tax receipt.

6. Check the appropriate box to Apply Standard Shipping charges to this Premium, if desired.

Note: The value of the Standard Shipping Charge is set by a Site Data Parameter (SDP) for your site; contact your Account Manager or Convio Customer Support for assistance in setting or changing this value.

7. Enter an Additional Shipping Charge for this item if appropriate.

Note: Any shipping charges will be added to the user's total on the Payment Information screen.

8. Provide Premium Option Text if applicable (for example, "Choose from the following t-shirt sizes:") and then provide the Options (for example, "Small", "Medium", and "Large")¿pressing Enter after each option.

9. Click Save. The screen will now include your image if you added one¿which you can choose to remove or replace.

10. Click the Premium List tab to return to the list of all premiums.

11. Place a Checkmark beside the Premium Title to associate it with the current giving level.

12. Click Save to return to the Edit Donation Level page for this Donation Level. The selected premium should now appear at the bottom of the page.

13. Repeat this process if you would like to associate more than one premium with this Donation Level.
