How do I place a Donation Thermometer on a page?

A donation thermometer may be placed on a page (such as your homepage) to allow constituents to monitor the progress of your fundraiser. The thermometer will be automatically updated as donations are received or whenever you manually add off-line contributions to your total on the Donation Form Information page. Adding a thermometer also creates a link to your donation form.

Place a Donation Thermometer on an existing page as follows:

1. Choose Content on the top-level navigation bar.

2. Click on the Name of your page in the Page Library (for example, homepage).

3. On the Page Information screen that opens, click the Copy and Edit icon beside the Name of your active page version.

4. On the Edit Page Contents screen, choose Donation Thermometer from the drop-down menu for one of the empty cells and then click Edit.

5. In the dialog box that opens, click the radio button beside the Name of your Donation Form.

6. Click Save. The donation thermometer should appear in the corresponding portion of your Edit Page Contents screen. Notice that you have also created a link to your donation form.

7. Preview your page and publish according to your standard procedure.
