How do I review Pending Contributions (Political Donation Forms only)?

Options

The Pending Contributions tab allows you to review those contributions that exceed the amount you entered as the Gift Queuing Threshold when creating a political donation form; any gifts that exceed the threshold are pre-approved by the donor¿s bank and then must await your approval before actual processing. You should review these transactions frequently as a courtesy to your donors and because pre-approval expires after a period of time.

The Pending Contributions tab also allows you to determine the frequency with which you process pending contributions and to view any transactions that failed the last time these transactions were processed.

Review Pending Contributions as follows:

1. Choose Fundraising on the top-level navigation bar.

2. If you have TeamRaiser installed, choose Online Giving on the second-level navigation bar. (Otherwise, go directly on to step # 3.)

3. Click the Pending Contributions tab.

4. Review the list of pending contributions and choose one of the following Actions for each: Accept, Reject, or Ignore.

Note: Any transactions that failed the last time you processed pending contributions will appear on the list in red.

5. Add Comments if you like.

6. Check the box below the list if you would like the transactions processed immediately. Otherwise, they will be processed according to the schedule you have established. (See note on "Batch Payment Configuration" below.)

7. Press Submit.

8. Review your actions on the screen that opens and then click Confirm to complete the transactions.

The following additional links are also available on the Pending Contributions screen:

Batch Payment Configuration - allows you to set the processing schedule for pending transactions (determines the date in the check box at the bottom of the Pending Transactions screen)

Failed Transactions - shows a list of any pending transactions that failed the last time they were processed (Note that failed transactions will reappear on the Pending Transactions list in red the next time the list is accessed.) Pending transactions may fail for either of the following reasons:

-Failure of the payment-processing gateway

-Expiration of the pre-authorization period
