What is the Page Wrapper Editor?

The Page Wrapper for your site provides a consistent look and feel as your constituents navigate the pages of your site. Convio builds a page wrapper for you when initially deploying your site. This initial wrapper is considered to be the "factory wrapper," and this factory wrapper cannot be modified. You operate your site with an editable version of this "factory wrapper."

The Page Wrapper Editor application provides you with the ability to build a new wrapper if you choose. Moreover, you can easily modify a wrapper by making a copy of the active version, making your changes, and publishing the new version. The factory version of your wrapper can always be restored as a temporary measure, if needed.

The Page Wrapper is actually a web page, so the changes you make using the Page Wrapper Editor are changes to standard web page elements including the Head element, the Title, the META tags, and the Body of the page. As you build your new wrapper, you will incorporate a placeholder for the actual content of your pages. When you finish editing the wrapper, you will be able to preview your entire site with the new wrapper before publishing the version.
