How can donations be made to a TR event, rather than to a participant or team on the backend?

Donations can be made to a TeamRaiser event only from the admin side at this time. Follow these steps:

1) Select 'Fundraising' from the top level navigation

2) Select 'TeamRaiser' from the 2nd level navigation

3) Click the 'Manage' icon (magnifying glass) next to the TR

4) Click 'Event Gifts' in the 3rd level navigation

5) Enter the offline cash or check gift information and click the appropriate button (Record Cash or Record Check)

6) Click 'Save'

Note that amounts entered to the event via this mechanism will be reflected in the TeamRaiser Team Summary report. Look for 'General Event Gifts' in the Participation Type column. Also be aware that this row in the report does NOT include online gifts entered using the 'Click here to donate directly' link. Those gifts do not go to the TR event, but rather to the general donation form.
