How do I use promo codes?

As you may have noticed, promo codes are used to hide ticket classes (and Campaign levels and TeamRaiser Participation Types). In order for someone to have access to these, they have to input the appropriate promo code somehow. There are two ways to do this:

1. Via link.

While creating a link in the wysiwyg, put "s_promoCode=

<your code>" (without the quotes) into the additional arguments textbox on the popup. In the case of Email, you can do this even for Trackable and Autologin links.

2. Via "E95 tag" -> ] This will create a textbox and a "Go" button on the page. End users will put the promo code into the box, press "Go", and land on whatever page you put into the <relative url>

portion.

One gotcha: If a ticket class has both a Security Category AND a promo code, the viewer will have to have both qualifications in order to access the ticket class, et al. The "OR" behavior can be simulated by having two ticket classes.
