Who got the email I sent?

Options

The best way to identify to whom a particular message (really, a particular delivery) went is:

1. Go to Deliveries tab

2. Click Review next to your message

3. You can confirm the target & do-not-mail groups just for that delivery

4. For more detail, click the Delivery Recipient report on the top left of this screen.

Sometimes someone on your delivery list will tell you s/he did not get the email. This is because delivering and receiving are two separate events. Think of it as you sending the constituent a package which might get lost or broken on the way. Things that can go wrong with messages sent to folks on your delivery report:

  • Hard or soft bounce (you can run the bounce reports in your email campaign to verify, or check the constituent's Profile tab to see Email status.

  • Caught by spam filter (look in the constituent's Interactions tab and click the email messages link to find out if there is a pattern of messages which have been received but not opened. If the constituent's record looks this way AND s/he is actively trying to find your message, chances are it's in the junk email folder.
