Scholarships/Prizes/Awards in RE

Hello,

First time using this discussion board!


I recently started at an org that essentially needs a total overhaul when it comes to their data entry strategy.

I feel confident with the approach my coworker and I are proposing but was curious to hear how people handle their scholarship/prize/award data entry.


This org has never used 1 approach.

I have seen entire individual constituent profiles made solely for a scholarship/prize/award, but of course this doesn't work well for long-term reporting.

I have seen people use the reference field to designate the scholarship/prize/award (sometimes), but that field is terrible for designation and there is also no way then to demonstrate recipients.


Perhaps we will invest in an additional service specifically built for scholarship/prize/award but now is not the time.


Has anyone else run into this?
