Generally, an action is any interaction by the participant that involves them providing data that will update their contact records.

Specifically, Donations, Ticket Purchases, Forwarded Messages, Tell-A-Friend submissions, Donations, Team Raiser Registrations, Survey Submissions, eCommerce Purchases and Advocacy Alert responses are considered actions.

Clickthroughs are not considered actions.
