Custom JavaScript to split gifts in NetCommunity before flowing to RE

Does anyone use custom JavaScript to split an event ticket purchase into a donation portion and non-gift portion so that the funds flow into the right accounts? For example, if we have an event that costs $25, $5 is the donation portion and $20 is the quid pro quo non-gift portion. We want the $25 to flow into RE, but have the funds hit the correct accounts. Right now, the gift processor has to manually tell the business office how much was the non-gift portion so that the funds can be move accordingly. There might be a way to do this using custom JavaScript. Has anyone done this already? Any JavaScript folks out there that might want to help do this?
