Hi Community,


We have a pledge from a foundation. They are transfering the pledge to another foundation to pay. Is there a way to do this in RE? My only thought right now is to write-off the original and re-book the remaining payments under the new foundation, but I'm not a big fan of writing-off a pledge. Any ideas?

    If you have to do billing for the pledge, you probably need to put the pledge under the paying foundation. If so, I would not do a write off but rather a gift adjustment. Give a place to describe why it's changed and IMO is more accurate for the situation.


    If you don't have to bill, you can just apply payments when received from new foundation against the pledge from original foundation.
