Eblast preheader

I am having difficulties with a preheader for my upcoming eblast. does anyone have any tips as to where to put it within online express eblast template so it works?

When you mention "preheader" are you talking about the line of text that appears near the subject line when someone is viewing the email in their inbox? If so, we put a text field above the header image with a copy of the first line of text -- the font size is small (10px - the smallest size) so that when constituents open/read the email they do not notice the added text above the header.

I was looking for a workaround as our email consultants asked this question of me this morning.

Elizabeth Johnson‍ - I’m glad you found the comment! We still use this solution within our emails and even go one step further to make the “preheader” content white on a white background, so that the first thing readers see is the email header image.

Austen Brown‍ - me too! I was thinking about trying that out with the font color thanks for letting me know that it worked and that you are still employing this tactic
