Follow up autoresponders to event volunteers

Hello All,

We want to insure that our event volunteers do not receive Teamraiser Followups Autoresponders. How do we ensure that does not happen? Is there a way to determine which follow up autoresponders are sent to event volunteers?

    I am assuming that you have setup your Volunteers as a Participant Type in your TeamRaiser for them to register? If that is the case, the best thing to do is to conditionalize the content of Teamraiser Followups Autoresponders as a motivational and thank you message. Currently, the first TeamRaiser Followup goes out 7 days after the registration of a participant, followed by a second Autoresponder after 14 days, third Autoresponder after 21 days, and the fourth Autoresponder after 42 days. The last followup Autoresponder will stop going out 7 days before the event.

    If you are not including your Volunteers as a Participant Type, it may be best to setup a Volunteer Survey and put that link on the Greeting Page of your TeamRaiser. That way, you will avoid the Autoresponders from been sent since the Volunteers are registering using a survey.
