We would like to be sure that editing the # of recurring gift months on a form will not affect a previous recurring donor's gift installments.

For example, if John Doe makes a gift of $50 per month for 6 months totalling $300, and then after his first gift is made, the form is edited to only allow up to 5 months, will he only make a maximum of 5 installments, or will the gift be made for six months since that is how the gift was originally set up?
