Get survey answers for logged in user.

hi, im new to convio . . . and trying to understand S-tags and such like

im trying to figure out a way to retrieve the number of goats a constituent has bought, and only using the convio platform

i tried to create a form where this data is entered into a survey - but i can't retreve that information for an individual user, id don't want all the responses like ]

I don't believe you can retrieve survey results for a particular user, unless you had the survey writing the result to a custom field. The S28 only returns the results of all answers to a particular survey and question.

So if you were writing the results to a custom field (which you can do through a survey), I believe you could then do this:

I'm not sure the field would ever be called "consitutent_goats" I think you may also need to use a generic field name

Keep in mind, that I think we have a limited number of custom fields, and that your database might already be utilizing some. So you probably do not want to create them willy-nilly.
