Honor/Memorial Donor Typos

Once or twice a month I'll get a phone call or email from a donor who realized that they submitted their honor/memorial donation form with a typo somewhere. Is there a way for us to edit this information (e.g., honoree name) or must we wait until we generate a report and correct it in the spreadsheet? We generate these reports weekly and my preference would be to correct the mistake immediately rather than risking forgetting about it when the report is run.

Just to be clear, this is a regular donation form, not Tributes. The report I run for fulfillment (e.g., mailing a card to next of kin, etc) is the "Donations By Transaction" report under Fundraising>>Donation Management>>Donation Reports. (Also, if anyone knows of a less cumbersome report to use for this process I'm all ears. I spend a lot of time each week generating the report and removing unneeded columns.)
