Complex Events registration form

This will be our first time using the Event Registration form (classic) for a theatre event. It is complex in that the form has 12 events (performances) and within each event there are 4 types of tickets with different prices within in. Capacity is different for each type. We are estimating approx 500 concurrent users will reserve tickets and pay by credit card within the first 5 to 10 minutes. There will be no seat selection during reservation. We have tested the form and everything works but of course cannot test for high volume. Wondered if anyone in the community have used the form for multiple events and if so, were there any problems?  We chose classic over new version because it is simpler to use (attendee info).
