donation form autorresponder receipt lists "donor entered amount" instead of specific $$$

On our donation forms, if a user enters their own desired amount instead of picking one of our predetermined levels, he/she gets the autoresponder receipt listing thei donation amount as "Donor entered amount" Any way to customize this field to actually reflect the amount they donated?
