Authorization Failed

I need information on the email detail report action: Failed Authorization. When I run our reports for click-throughs etc., it seems lately we've had an uptick in Authorization Failed under the Action column. It reads: Clicked: Authorization Failed. If anyone has any experience with this can you please assist me. Chat support said it had to do with our server. If I could get a complete explanation it would help our understanding of the issue and how best to circumvent any inhibition.
