Autoresponder for survey never gets sent?

Options

Due to certain limitations in the Event module we're using a Survey to register visitors for a free event. We've done several test submissions over the last 24 hours, and so far none of us has received the autoresponder "Survey Thank You" email. "Version to send" is set to "Send the Customized Version," the form is published and valid from Dec. 17 08 - Jan 15 09, and the test submissions show up in the activity report.

I don't know what the "gotcha" is here but apparently (infuriatingly) there is one. Any help would be much appreciated. I can supply the form URL if necessary.

    Nothing springs to mind, but I'd have a look.

    I am currently experiencing this same problem right now.  I have reviewed the settings and everything appears to be in order.  Any ideas?

    The fact that Luminate does not log Autoresponder sends is a challenge. Makes it really difficult to track and confirm this functionality is not working as expected. We've seen this in the past as well. We have it disabled for most surveys, but I am trying to test now.

    There  is a post in Ideas through the Support Portal that is asking product development to include reporting on autoresponders. I would recommend going to that and voting it up.

    I did eventually get the autoresponse. So, what ever the reason, it was just a delay. I love the idea of autoresponse being logged. I will go vote for that now.

  • Responding for anyone who comes across this issue in 2019, the reason the survey autoresponder wasn't sending for me was due to our survey not having a "Constituent Registration Information" question. Once I added this to the survey the autoresponder was able to be sent and received. 
  • Is anyone still having this issue (besides me)? I have a few surveys I am working for requesting access to our volunteer orientation but the user never gets the autoresponder. I have ‘Constituent Registration Information’ in the survey. I really don't want to have to trigger a new emails series for this. Is that my only option?
