NetCommunity Templates/Redesign

We paid a third party to design our templates and layout for NetCommunity when we purchased it a few years ago. It now looks very old and outdated and we are interested in updating it. We were very disappointed with the third party designer we used but do not have any staff members that know how to write code to re-do ours. Does anyone know if there are any "free" templates available that we could download? Thanks in advance!

If you google, there are plenty of free or cheap templates that are good starting point. I built ours using https://getbootstrap.com/ framework fairly quickly, it isn't a template but googling 'Bootstrap themes' brings up a lot. How much knowledge you need depends how complex you need the site such as styling NC custom parts. 


You  create a new test site in NC admin that isn't public to play around with and see how far you can get. I haven't looked at the NC guides in a long time but they might give you some pointers, or post on here and we might be able to help.

Hi, Kerry. Thanks for sharing the Bootstrap information with the group. I some additional questions.


1) Could you share the link to the site that you created using Bootstrap? I'm curious to see how that works in NetCommunity.


2) Could you outline the process for setting-up Bootstrap in NetCommunity? Did you created a sub-site under the main production site?
