Using RE and BBNC for Duck Race

Our University is looking into facilitating a duck race to engage student giving. The students would have the opportunity to purchase a rubber duck for $5 and all ducks will be dumped into the river. The winning duck will receive a prize. Has any organization done something similar using RE and BBNC to handle registrations and payments? How did you set up the infrastructure to make the event run successfully?

Do you allow students to purchase more than one duck, or is it a 1:1 student/duck purchase?  That will influence if and how you use the Events module.


It's a simple setup in BBNC once you figure out how you wish to manage the Event in RE.

You may want to look into/use mobile pay as well in order to allow students to participate last minute...
