  • I'm not sure about querying on whether an annotation is "not checked" to display, but we found it helpful to add a business rule that would "pop" up when entering a gift through a gift batch.  Once the id/name is entered in the batch, if an annotation exists, a message displays instructing the processor to review the annotations for possible "gift processing" instructions.  This has been especially helpful when special instructions have been given to us for the anticipated gift.  The annotation can be entered to with the instructions, and when the gift is being entered in the batch the processor can review for any "special" direction from the officer.  It might also be helpful with the example you provided?
  • Gina Gerhard:

Does anyone know how to query on whether an annotation is checked 'Display annotation automatically' ??

I want to find all annotations in my system that are not checked to automatically display.

There seems to be a parameter in the Export which lift out whether an annotation will automatically display. It is under constituent.
  • Bob - Thanks so much, I never thought of looking since it wasn't available in query.  Just ran and found about a dozen out of around a thousand records where it was unchecked to display. Will fix these now ...

    Thanks again!
