TeamRaiser Registration Uploads

Options
We want to re-register people from a previous TeamRaiser event but want them to still pay the regustration fee. Is there a way to do a registration upload and then still have the participants pay the registration fee before being able to access their participant center?

  • I'm pretty sure that is not doable.

You could send them all links right to the registration page and also include their username and a password reset link. Or if you make it an autologin link in that email, all the personal info fields will be prefilled out for them.

The closest you could get to what you are after is to upload them, but not approve their personal page. (You can set TRs to require admin approval before personal pages are visible to the public.) Make them donate, and only then do you approve them. Seems too hacky and like too much manual tracking to me though.

    Hi Brian,

At the risk of jumping in and redirecting the conversation here, this is the first I'm hearing of an auto-login link within the context of a reregistration email (or otherwise). Is there any insight you can share on deploying this?

  • Autologin links are available when you click OPTIONS when inserting a link into an email. It's just a checkbox.

They only work one time, so forwarded emails have less of a chance of doing something confusing if people use forward to spread the word.
