Company Teams and Team Divisions - Examples wanted

Does your TeamRaiser event have company teams or use team divisions?

Company Teams:

If you have compnay teams, can you share links to individual company pages? 

Team Divisions:

Is this something that is only used on the back-end for reporting and grouping? Do you surface this on Team Pages at all?

We don't use divisions for anything.

Team Division:

We use Team Divisions on our events, and currently "surfaced" publicly / are used for grouping Top Participants By Division (Family/Friend, Family/Friend in Honor, Family/Friend in Memory, Corporate, Club/Organization)  by to be rendered on our Greeting Page

Can you change a team's division from the backend?

yup, Team Division are created / initiated from the backend TeamRaiser  ("Edit" > "5.Team Division").  Once created they will appear on the registration as dropdown for any team to associate themselves with







EDIT ADD ON:

• You can't probably edit them once created though, but you can recreate them if modification needed to be made (mostly renaming)
• you can always re-associate those teams from the backend as well (say if they forgot to do so the first time, or if you need to move them to other division due to any reasons) -- but yeah that's manual

Sorry I should rephrase: If someone creates a team without a division, can I add them to a division? or if someone created a team in one division and should be in another, can I move a team from one to another.

No worries Sara, I kinda re-read that and realized probably you were heading in that direction question wise.

And the other good thing about modifying / changing post registration, although still manual, but you can delegate that task to your field "event managers" for them to do that themselves for their managed teams through their EMC console (provided if they have EMC modules, not all of org seems to be using EMC -- that's like the "Participant Center" dashboard but tailored more for Event Managers of an event / teamraiser).


In our case, not everybody has access to the Luminate Online Admin console, especially those "event managers" are trained to manage their events and edit their custom pages etc from the EMC

Have you found an s-tag to display the top companies for a TeamRaiser? I would think it would be S36 but haven't found that yet.
