Leveraging Browser Caching

Options
When running a PageSpeed Insights Diagonostic, the number 1 fix that is recommended to optimize our giving page is to Leverage Browser Caching. From what I understand, this is something that we cannot control from the BBNC client side. Does anyone have any recommendations for decreasing the load time of BBNC pages?

Thanks!

  • I would say minifying JS / CSS is a good idea, however, NC's base scripts are not all minified and not all loaded in the footer as they should be.
  • Came here to post about this exact same thing. Hoping the developers change this soon. According to some research, 90% of websites have an .htaccess file that allows the webmaster to make modifications, but BBNC does not. Very frustrating. We've gotten a failing grade on our browser caching from at least six different speed tests - and yet there's nothing I can do about it.
