Guests in Event Module

Does anyone have a faster way to enter guests when you don't know who they are?  For instance if ABC Corp takes a sponsorship that includes 10 tickets to the gala, we are currently entering in the Event Module the sponsorship of ABC Corp and then under guests, we enter ABC Corp Guest 1, ABC Corp Guest 2, ABC Corp Guest 3, etc.  Any tips on how to do this faster?

That's what we do as well.  We find it useful to have those entered as placeholders until we get names or find out the tickets are being used.


When we pull attendee lists, the full # of potential guests are counted, plus we have a visual of the folks we still need to track down.

We use the Event Omatic plug in from Omatic Software and LOVE IT!  When I did a demo for the staff there was 100% buy in and "we want it now " response.  The omatic plug in allows you to enter place holders all at once, you just tell it how many and then it adds them in.  You can also have participant default sets loaded for those placeholders (registered etc).  There is a TON of functionality with the plug in, and reasonably priced - especially when you look at time saved with data entry.
